Duren Tiga Channel Not Functioning Optimally

Although it has been cleaned, a connecting channel located at Jalan Duren Tiga Raya and Jalan Pasar Minggu Raya is still unoptimal. This is due to waterway channel damaged.

Maulana, (38), a RT 03/02 resident, Duren Tiga Urban Village said the channel function is unoptimal. " This is because of waterway channel damaged, thus water cannot flow smoothly ," he told, Tuesday (8/18).

Duren Tiga Urban Village Head, Endang Mulahatmi said officer had been sent to clean up trash in the channel, but water does not flowing. "The damage could trigger flood in rainy season," he told.

According to her, her side had coordinated with related unit to solve the problem. "We've contacted the Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department and Department, but we still don't get a response," he told. 

"We also find a large banyan tree that blocked the channel," he uttered.

Not only that, Mulahatmi continued, there are also many potholes on the sidewalks. "Surely, it will endanger the pedestrian," she stressed.
